The Westland Band Boosters Are...
A group who is passionate about the music program and enjoys having fun at football games, competitions, and events while supporting the incredible students in the program.
The Boosters are a non-profit entity providing additional financial support and resources to ensure the program continues to evolve and prosper for years to come. The Booster organization is open to everyone: parents, guardians, grandparents, family and friends.
How to participate?
Anyone is welcome to participate in the organization! Below are several ways for you to easily get involved in the organization.
Take part in planning and decision making by attending our monthly Booster meetings, typically held in the High School band room on the second Monday of every month.
Chaperone an event. It is a great way to see our students in action while making friends with the parents who share a love for our youth and keeping them safe. See the Chaperones section for how to become a chaperone.
Volunteer opportunities are posted througout the season in Charms. Be sure to check it often.
Participate in fundraisers to provide financial support to help our program continue to be one of the best in the nation!
Do you own your own business or have a friend who is willing to allocate a portion of the advertising dollars to support our large organization? If so, consider being a sponsor of the program.
If you wish to be a voting member of the Booster organization, a membership only costs $5 per year. This gives you authority to cast your vote on future board members and decisions made by the organization as a whole.
