  Hi Everybody,

There will be a Scrip meeting this Thursday, May 8, from 6-7 p.m. in the Band Wing (or I might get pushed out into the Commons area, depending on how and where the Directors want to rehearse), right before the Jazz/Percussion concert.

There are a few bonuses this time:

Champps is having a 2% bonus from 5/10 thru 5/30 for a total of 6%.

Barnes and Noble Bookstores are having a 1% bonus from 5/3 thru 5/30 for a total of 9%.

Borders is also having a 1% bonus and theirs is from 5/3 thru 6/6 for a total of 9%.

Staples is having a 5% bonus from 5/3 thru 5/23 for a total of 9%.

  Hi Everybody,

There will be a Scrip meeting this Thursday, March 27, from 6-7 p.m. in the band wing at Westland High School.

I have some changes for you this time:

Land's End is having a 3% bonus from 3/29 thru 5/9, giving you 11% rather than 8% during that time. Denominations are available in $25 and $100s.

CVS is offering a permanent increase from 1% to 5%. That's an increase of 4%.

Barnes & Noble has a 1% bonus from 3/15 thru 4/4, giving a 9% bonus during that time rather than the usual 8%.

TGIF has a 1% bonus from 3/15 thru 4/4, for a 9% bonus rather than the usual 8%.

Great Clips has been added as a new retailer. They are offering a $25 gift card at a 7% rate.

As always, should you wish to participate in Scrip and are unable to attend a meeting, please let me know and we can arrange a mutually convenient time to get together outside of the normal meeting times. Hope to see you there on Thursday.

Please remember that the next Scrip will not be held until March 27th as the normal one would be held during Spring break.

Kay Jewelers has lowered their percentage to 5% for their $50 gift cards.

Uno Chicago Grill is now at 11% for a $25 gift card.

Longhorn is now at 8% for a $25 gift card.

Burger King is having a 2% bonus during March, giving a 5% discount rather than the normal 3%.

TGIF has increased their percentage to 8% for a $25 gift card.

LL Bean has a bonus of 2% thru March 21, increasing their percentage to 16% for that time.

JC Penney has a bonus of 1% thru March 21, increasing their percentage to 5% for $25 and $100 denominations.

Lilian Vernon gift cards are no longer available.

Outback has increased their percentage from 3% to 4%. Their gift card is also redeemable at Carrabbas and Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Golden Corral has been discontinued.
