Marching Band Clinics
Marching/Playing Clinics are to slowly introduce the basics of marching with the
assistance of our student leaders. We also introduce and learn marching band songs
and performance techniques. These clinics are held at Westland in the gym from 7-8:30pm.
Please note these clinics are for all winds AND percussion.

What do I need for marching/playing clinics?
Tennis shoes, your instrument and a great attitude! If you play tuba, baritone,
horn or percussion you will be provided with an instrument.
Percussion Clinics
These clinics will be held from 4:30-6:30pm at Westland in the band room (NE corner
of the building). This is when Mr, Moore and his staff determines what instrument
each percussionist would be best suited for.

Parent Informational Meeting
Thursday, April 17th at 7pm (Band Room) The purpose of this meeting is to provide
parents and guardians with important information about the band program at Westland.
During this time you and your student will have the opportunity to hear from current
members of both the band organization and Band Boosters (the supporting parent organization
of the band) and ask any questions you may have to other parents and the directors.
